Lemon Festival programme

The “Fête du Citron®” (Lemon Festival), is an unique event in the world, which attracts more than 200,000 visitors every year. Each annual festival has its own theme, and for 2024, the 90th Festival, the theme is “The  Olympic Games from antiquity to the present day”.

Over 15 days, visitors will enjoy giant sculptures – some using nearly 15 tonnes of lemons and oranges-  day and night-time parades of citrus floats and musical groups, admire the Exhibition of citrus patterns in the Biovès gardens; visit the Crafts Fair and the Festival of Orchids, attend concerts and shows, go on guided heritage tours, discover the  local flavours and gastronomy, hike a variety of trails, and  take part in citrus orientated workshops – candle making, fragrance, ceramics, drawing, sketching and painting, plus picking and pruning. La Fête du Citron® à Menton attire chaque année plus de 200 000 visiteurs. Pendant plus de 15 jours, venez vivre les Corsos des fruits d’or et Corsos nocturnes vitaminés (parades de chars composés d’agrumes et animées par des groupes), admirer l’exposition de motifs d’agrumes dans les jardins Biovès, sans oublier de visiter le Salon de l’Artisanat et le Festival des Orchidées aux senteurs inoubliables. La Fête du Citron® a été reconnue par le ministère de la Culture et inscrite à l’inventaire du patrimoine culturel immatériel en France en 2019.
