New Caledonian Film Festival 2024
The New Caledonia Film Festival is again coming to Tauranga and will be held at the Luxe Cinema in Tauranga.
In honour of New Caledonia Citizenship Day, the government of New Caledonia and the Alliance Française network is organising the “New Caledonia Season in New Zealand” during September and October 2024.
With the recent unrest in Nouméa, this New Caledonia Season is an opportunity to support the vision of young artists and learn about the culture. 5 Pacific award-winning short films in French and Kanak languages with English subtitles, as well as commentary from the directors, have been grouped into one programme.
This time there will be two screenings at Luxe Cinema of the same programme of short films:
Sunday 20th October 2024 at 3.30pm
Monday 21st October at 6.30pm.
The cost per person is $15.
